Just Because

Evening everyone

Well Day 3 of the Painted with Love DSP cards, I am loving working with these papers.
Today is a Just Because day, using the A Good Day stamp set and some hearts die cut with the Sweet and Sassy Framelits.

I used a 5 1/4 square white card and layered that with a piece of 5 x 5 DSP.

I the cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry card which measures 3 3/4 x 4 and covered that with a different DSP piece that measures 3 5/8 x 3 7/8

I stamped on a 1 1/4 square piece of Whisper White and added that onto a 1 3/8 piece of Rich Razzleberry

I used the beautiful metallic edged ribbon and cut out some gold mirror card hearts.

Thanks as always for looking.

Hello Friend

Hi everyone

Well Day 2 playing the the beautiful Painted with Love DSP.

I started with a 5 1/4 square card and added a layer of Rich Razzleberry card stock.

I made 3 panels from the DSP and added the shimmer ribbon, then added the bow with mini glue dots.

I stamped the heart and used the marker pens to colour the flowers, (powder pink, rich razzleberry, so saffron, pear pizzazz, berry burst)  I then used a White gel pen to add some highlights.  I die cut this with the Sweet & Sassy framelets and also die cut a Berry Burst larger heart.

I stamped the greeting from the A Good Day stamp set on a piece of whisper white and used the label punch.

As always thanks for looking

Amazing You

Afternoon All

Well today I have been playing with the wonderful Amazing /You stamps and co-coordinating Thinlets.

I wanted a quick easy card just to show off the dies.  I used the Painted with Love DSP, This is one of my new Favorites......................  although that list is growing every month.

I used a 5 1/4 card base then cut out a 5x5 layer in Calypso Coral.

I used the 1 3\8 new scalloped circle punch and just did 5 different pieces of the DSP

I used Rich Razzleberry for the word YOU and Calypso Coral for the Amazing.
I stamped the burst image from the stamp set and then just went over it with a blender pen.

True Gentleman

Evening everyone

A simple card tonight using the True Gentleman DSP and Truly Tailored Stamp set with matching Punch.

This is a wonderful set for male cards and the can be simple or elaborate as you need them to be.

I love the sentiments in this set.

I used Chocolate Chip card stock cut at 10" x 5" for the card base.
I stamped the sentiment on Very Vanilla and then used the stitched oval to cut it out.
I covered the card with a piece of the DSP and then cut a strip from another piece to go across the centre of the card.

More Magical

Evening friends, well another lovely magical evening spent making a card for my grandson.

I cut out a piece of smoky slate card stock to look like a castle then I ran it through the Big Shot with the brick embossing folder, which I ink with Basic Grey.

The I just hand cut the castle tops from Black card stock.

I used the Oval framelits to cut out the door and frame and ran that through the Big Shot with the pine planks embossing folder and some Soft Suede ink.

I used a die from my stash to cut out the grass and added the Magical DSP for the sky.

I stamped and coloured the knight and then re stamped it on a piece of silver mirror card and fussy cut the armour.  I embossed the sentiment with silver on a piece of smoky slate.

Thanks as always for looking.

Afternoon All

Well its been a while since my last post but hopefully now I am getting my Mojo back.............  Since all my Christmas cards I found I was stuck for inspiration and travelling back and forth to Wales was taking its toll.

But here we go with a lovely little card using the Magical Day set, I just love this set and I now have a head full of projects.

I made this card for the little girl next door who turned 5

I used a die from my stash to cut out the wave pattern, using Island Indigo card stock, layering one piece on top of the other with foam.  I used the lovely DSP for the clouds.

I coloured the mermaid in with the stampin' blends and added wink of stella to make them sparkle.  For the sentiment I used versa mark and white heat embossed them.

Afternoon All

Such a busy time crafting and not having time to blog - oh well trying hard to keep up but working full time as well not always as easy as it sounds.

But today I have managed to make quite a few cards, so will try and post at least 3 times this coming week.

So we are going to start off with this little card using the Coffee Cafe and Merry Cafe, with the wonderful snowflake embossing folder.

I made this using a 5 x 5 blank white card base, then added a piece of the Quilted Christmas dsp,
I made another mat with a different piece of the DSP and a layer of Soft Sky which I embossed.

I used the wonderful Garden Green Stitched Sating Ribbon - a favourite of mine.

I cut out the coffee cup with another piece of the DSP, stamped the cream on top with soft sky added the cup holder which I stamped using the Merry Cafe

Add a piece of bakers twine and a straw, and thats about it

Starry Night

Evening everyone

Well tonight I decided I would try some background blending, I have wanted to try out the Brightly Lit Christmas stamps and dies and though they would look lovely in some none traditional colours.

I started by picking out the blues and then thought they would look better in Wisteria Wonder, one of my favorite colours, but I needed to add a darker colour for the lamp and didn't want black.  I used the Elegant Eggplant to die cut the lamp and then cut it again in Glimmer paper.

It was a bit of a struggle getting those little pieces in but after a lot of cursing I managed it.  Think if I was to do this again I would just ink behind the lamps.

I started the sky with Soft Sky and then put the mask for the moon as I didn't want it too bright  before I started the Wisteria Wonder finally finishing the edges with Elegant Egg Plant.

I stamped the Lovely as a Tree in Smoky Slate and then stamped off for the lighter trees in the front.
I used Versa Mark for the starry swirl from the Star of Light stamp set and then used one of the sentiments in the Wisteria.  I did use a die from my stash for the hill in the front.

This is a larger card 7" x 5" and all in all I am very pleased with it.

Thanks as always for looking, all the products used are available in my shop, either through my blog or Facebook page.

Evening All,

Well this is a special card for me as I always travel home to Wales for Christmas, and it is definitely driving home for Christmas as it takes me just under 4 hours singing Christmas songs all the way.

I have made this card using the Hearts come Home bundle, but I actually used a die I had in my stash to change up the word home.

I die cut the houses, and used the Cherry Cobbler blend to colour the doors, I them stamped the sentiment and cut it into smaller pieces and outlined them with the smaller end of the pen.

The die I used from my stashed was cut out with Glimmer paper.  the back ground card stock I scored on the score board and then added the Be Merry DSP inside the score lines.

Polar Express SVG project

Evening all

A different project today, I have used my cameo and a file from @svgcuts - I have been wanting to make this for a while for a Christmas Decor.  The actual train and the Caboose are boxes that you can put battery operated tealights in or you can put sweets or presents.

I have made this using Cherry Cobler and Garden Green card stock with the Be Merry DSP.

I loved doing this project, and can't wait to see my grandsons faces, when its full of little presents for them.

The train is too large to get all in one photo.

Little Eskimo

Morning Friends,

Today I have been using the Cookie Cutter stamp set and the Merry Little Christmas DSP.  I was looking for inspiration on how to use the check paper and found on pinterest a sketch, which is not something I use very often, but  I have to say I could become addicted to them.  Thanks to all who post these.

I stamped the image in Memento and used the sketch markers to colour him, then I used a Versa Mark pen so I could heat emboss the fir in white,

The sentiment is from the Ready for Christmas stamp set, which I haven't used yet.  Got to love weekends, when it's raining and too cold to go out.  I embossed the white tag layer with the softly falling folder and finished everything off by adding Wink of Stella over his outfit and all the trees on the paper, and a few rhinestones.

As Always thanks for taking the time to look at my blog.

Evening All

Friday again, wow where is the time going, another week closer to Christmas.....

Tonight I have made a cute card using the Seasonal Chums, love this set, as a stand along or tags -  this little image leant itself to the wonderful papers, and again those gorgeous foil snowflakes.

Not your usual combination for a Christmas card, but I love them Black, Red and Gold very Regal.
I embossed the sentiment and used the Stitched Oval Framelits, an absolute must have for your collection.

I also used the lovely washi tape, not usually my go to but think I could get use to these as the colours in the pack are great.

I coloured the image using the Stamping Blends also adding a gold gel pen for the bell, and a few more dots on his back.

As always thanks for looking, and don't forget all these wonderful products can be purchased in my online shop.
