Wedding Mini

Hi all

Well sorry haven't blogged but my computer has not been doing what it is suppose to do.
Anyway had a very good week and a couple of really good weekends bu now have to get back to doing my crafting, have so many things on the go and nothing finished.  Have promised myself some more Halloween projects as my grandsons are coming on Friday and still haven't got around to any of them.

But first today is the finished Mini i have been working on for a friends wedding, thanks for looking hope you like it.

I used a paper stack I have had for ages i am no sure of the name but the flowers are do craft and it looks the same I am guessing it came from them.

the box  i made from som Co-ordinations white and made the tags to match.

Each page has a flap on the front that opens out to a small pocket and a tag, the pack of the page has a large flap that lifts up.

Each page also has a large photo mat.

as always thanks for looking hope you like it.

Plain and simple

Card No 2 for today

I just used an old sticker from my stash.  First I embossed the card with the cuttlebug Swiss dots, I was going to emboss the whole of the card but rather liked the gap, gave a plain card a little bit of interest I thought.  Then I used the memento white ink straight over it

I die cut a scalloped circle from Spellbinders and added a sticker that was in my stash.

A very simple card but I thought it was eye catching.

Anyway thanks again

Xmas Tree............. loving the new Ribbon.

Afternoon All

Well been quite busy today, went back to the Dr they had forgotten to put in my appointment and there must have been 40 people before me.............  did I wait NO........  do feel a bit better today so will change it to another day,.  Had to come home and craft then oh and take back my sisters dishes.... as she had brought me over Sunday Roast with all the trimmings............. yummy.

Anyway a couple of cards today
Hope you like them and as always thanks for looking.

This card was created with a cut file that I then matted on white and lime green card.  I embossed the swirl tree about 4 times just to get it nice and shiny and to stand out from the rest of the card.

The Ribbon I bought in a haberdashery, they had 30 off cuts in one bag, i love it so pretty

thanks for looking No 2 coming up

New Box Xmas Cards

Hi All

Well after being extremely ill for the last week finally got in to my craft room to do some box cards.  It is funny have had all this time off work and couldn't even get in here to do anything.

Hope you like them, now reading a book on how to blog properly too................ so hope fully will be able to get my blog working for me and not me for it..............

The back of this one is vellum and looks good with a tea light behind.

This one is a bit of a favorite, I was going to use the traditional colors but decided I would do cream and teal I think it came out quite well.

As always thanks for looking.

Xmas Canvas

Afternoon

Well have been getting quite festive over the weekend, as some of you know I have been at sea for the last 14 years and have very rarely in that time been home for Xmas, now with it approaching quickly I suddenly thought to myself, I do not have any Xmas decorations at all.................  AARRGGG not even a tree.

So a shopping I will go but decided well I should really make my own as well, so I decided to do a large canvas which I have had in my stash for ages.

The canvas is 20" x 20" I first covered it with Gesso and then added some embossed areas with stencils and modelling paste, then gave it another coat with the gesso.

I used some wooden snowflakes which i covered with Wink of Stella glitter pen.

and of course a bow

I added the Silhouette cut out and decided I needed just a bit of colour behind so I washed out some Tim Holtz Fire brick nearly just to water. - I think inked the edges and used some twine for decoration.

Hope you like it

thanks for looking and I appreciate any comments.

Incredible Journey

Good Morning All

Just thought I would share my latest mini with you - it is 9x6 and was made for a family member who is pregnant, so she can record her journey through to her bundle of joy (not sure what the sex is but this is about her)

I used my cameo for the cut outs an each page is the same has plenty of pockets so she can keep all her memorabilia in there from hospital visits, scan print outs and all her journaling, as to what happened and when.

I used bazzil basic black and white card stock and the papers are from EYE CANDY by GCD Studios.

I used a cut out from the Cameo for the balloon which I covered in glossy accents.

The pages are all from a design by Superhappy scrapper.

I tried to keep it as plain as possible for the journal tags which are just 4x2 scares and the scallop corners using the chomper.

Hope you like it and would love to hear your comments.

Thanks again for looking.

My Card with the silhouette

Well evening all,

I have been rather busy of late running around the country visiting friends and family and then working full time, so now at last I have some time to try out my new machine.

A couple of cards made with the Silhouette, I just love this design program there is no end to what I can do now.
the first card is a Xmas one I ended up cutting out the words and snowflake to put on a card but in the end decided I liked the cut out better and used that on foam tape.  Now I have the words for another card thrifty crafting..... doesn't get any better than that.

I even managed to make a customized envelope on my Crafters Companion board.

I just used a piece of patterned paper and a Spellbinders label that I stamped on.

A close up of the front, oh and of course have to have Stickles for Xmas.

Hope you like it

Thanks for looking.
