Afternoon All

Well I have eventually found time to do some crafting.....  things have been pretty hectic of late with family, which I love but now its me time.

Today I have been making a Sampler for home decor, I have used lots of goodies including a sneek peek at some of the new things coming from Stampin' Up!

Hope you like it..................

The frame was a mirror but when I had it delivered it was broken so as I never throw anything away this is what it became.  Some of the stamps have been in my stash for a long time, especially the beach huts these stamps are from Michael Powell.

The Tee-shirt is from Stampin' Up! and will be retiring this year.

The little boat is from the Swirly Bird Stamp set, and the deck chair is a sneeky look at whats to come.  The anchor is a die I have had a while so I cut it twice using Night of Navy and Very Vanilla card stock.  All od the background papers are from the By the Shore DSP.

Thanks for looking as always.

Evening All

It's a very wet and miserable evening here, lights are on its dark and gloomy outside - so I thought I would cheer myself up by using the swirly stamps and dies.

I love the Rose Red card stock and ink so like a summer garden.....

I used whisper white for the inside and the front panel, for the small flowers I cut a template to stamp them. so I could line them up, the I put them on dimensionals with some Wink of Stella.  The sentiment is from succulent garden and I used the layering oval dies.

for the inside I die cut another swirly flower and added another of the small flowers in the middle

I CASEd the idea from Llina Crouse on You Tube

As always thanks for looking

Baby Card

Evening All

Congratulations are in order for my nephew and his wife on the birth of their baby boy - a handsome 8lb and 11oz..................... not bad for a first time.

So a beautiful evening here and I am in my craft room enjoying creating a card for them.

I have used the gorgeous Bermuda Bay card stock and white embossed the stamp, from the Any Occasion set

I Love the pop up crib and the little shelf with the letters, these I have cut using Night of Navy card stock for a bit of contrast,

The envelope I made using the subtles DSP in Bermuda Bay, and the envelope punch board.

As always thanks for looking and have a great evening.

Well good morning friends, bloggers and crafty peeps.

As you can see I am now back in the UK full time after doing my last contract at sea.  It was a sad day leaving after 16 years but it’s time to find my land legs now, and enjoy my grandsons and family, and after all I’m a wee tad old for that game now.  NO I hear you cry 😊

So, the last few months has been a whirl wind of activity, selling my house in Cardiff (my true home) and buying a new one in Doncaster, moving in and getting the most important room in the house my Craft Room up and running.  Priorities !

I am now working for my son in his security business (which was great to get my alarm and cctv fitted) trying to get my furniture out of storage, learn how to drive again (16 years without a car) and settle down and get back into the rhythm of normal life.  Oh and of course there is the weather and the dark winter days to get used to. Bring on the summer and flipflops.  I will be crafting my little heart out as they say..........

This post is also about telling you my news I am now a STAMPIN UP DEMONSTRATOR  yay ………..
So if anyone would love a catalogue or even just buy anything from me please feel free to send me your details and I would be more than happy to send you all the necessary things to make it happen.

Hopefully this year will also see my trying to get my YouTube channel  up and running, but first need to learn the ins and outs, but it is my goal before the end of the year to get this done.
Also I will be making a new Facebook page dedicated to my Stampin Up!  I hope :-)  and even get a shopping button with a bit of luck
So, all in all I have set myself some large goals in my new life but hopefully you can all come along for the ride.

a couple of projects to start with I guess……………………..   The small box is from a tutorial on You Tube from Ann's Happy Stamper.........(she is amazing)

Just Chill

Evening Peeps

Well I have been getting all my stamps out and having a good practice, today it was a House Mouse day, I love these stamps so started with this one, which is a favorite

I started with a 6x6 card base and used a paper pack I got from Michaels when I went to stay with my friend in Florida, I actually bought so much whilst there I had to get another bag to bring it all home, I so wish I could shop there every week.

Anyway here we go

The papers I used are called STONEWASHED by the Paper Studio, I stamped the sentiment with versamark ink and heat embossed with White embossing powder.  I covered the drink with wink of Stella glitter pen.

I cut out the stamp with a Spellbinders label - fussy cutting the flower first and putting that outside the die as the image was a little to big for the die, but I didn't want to use the next size up.

I stamped the embellishment and added inside the card along with some more of the paper and a label die from Spellbinders.

As always thanks for looking and commenting it is really appreciated.

Hello Friend

Afternoon Peeps

From a very Wet, Windy and cold Wales, looks like winter is back with a vengeance......
I have been practicing with my copics again on another Saturated Canary digi stamp.  the image is quite apt at this moment although not the short sleeves.........

I have created a 6x6 card, covered with papers from Serendipity Paper Pad by Papiers Creation, which I purchased at the Works.

I used the following colours
HAIR - E31,35 & 57
DRESS - BV31,02,13 & 17
I used a white gel pen for the details.

Time now to dig out all my stamps and have a good play

As always thanks for looking and have a great week

Well after waiting in for British Gas all day and nothing I decided I would do a little bit of crafting.  I coloured this image quite a while ago with Promarkers and had forgotten that I had done it.  I used Parisian Dreams Paper collection 6x6 by Jenny Ellory.

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted Stamps.................

Especially for You

Evening Peeps

A little card from me using a new stamp set I purchased, I just love flowers especially Fushia or Dancing dollies as we used to call them. I thought I would try some water colouring, first I created with background with some water colour pencils, then stamped the flowers, coloured and fussy cut them out, I added them with some pop dots.

I doodled the stamen and added some Gorguss purple twine.
